Catherine Vicki was born in Sydney, Australia, where she lives and works. She holds an Associate Diploma of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Visual Communication (Photography & Digital Imaging), completed in Australia.

Working across painting, photography, and textiles, her practice draws on personal narratives of faith and the human experience. Material approaches are informed by her upbringing—her mother’s craft as a seamstress and her father’s photographic practice. Influenced by the ideas of 19th-century photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, the work explores the interrelationship between creative depth and spiritual inquiry through image, material, and narrative.

Catherine’s work has been selected for over 30 exhibitions internationally, including Sydney, New York, and Japan, and her work has been acquired into private and institutional collections.
