The paintings were inspired by flowers the artist had bought for her mother whilst she was in a nursing home with dementia. The loosely hand-drawn flowers and neutral colour palette embody the simple yet profound sacrifices of love, and the fragility of life.

This original painting is signed by artist Catherine Vicki, and has been varnished with cold wax to give a buttery finish to the canvas surface. Also available as a Limited Edition Fine Art Print.
